Visas are required alongside passports for British nationals, at a cost of around £130 for single entry tourist visas, valid for 60 days. Passports are not required from US and Canadian nationals, as long as immigration authorities are provided with a birth certificate or drivers licence, along with other photo ID – a tourist card is required, however, and can be purchased on entry for around US$10 for stays of two weeks, with the time of stay extendable at the immigration authority’s discretion.
